Interested in hearing others views on this one.. for years i have used dropbox with clients autouploading files (eg photos from phone) soon as wifi is in range.Upload only mode so it's store and forget. From here it's downloaded to my personal machine which replicates out to my unraid machine (local storage, parity backed.)this is also uploaded to crashplan (i still havent moved from the business offering) While this has been great for my personal usage, I'm becoming increasingly aware that others also require such a setup to keep everything on handwhen i start counting, My partner, all family members etc.. i really start looking to alternative. so we land at selfhosted options, as far as i have found, nextcloud works best out of all the options.Where i host it is still up in the air... in LA on blockstorage on a vps... in NL where i have a datacenter full of options?.. I'd love to know what others are using for this usecase though?
