Cheap low-level VPS based in NZ

Hi there

I am trying to find cheap linux VPS *based in NZ, or with NZ IP address*The NZ sites I've looked at are ridiculously expensive compared to their US counterparts. All I want it for is to set up a simple Shadowsocks VPN server so that I can look like I am coming from NZ no matter where I am in the world.

At DigitalOcean I can do this for $5 USD a month. But I can't find anything close to that that allows me to come from an NZ-based server.

Any ideas?
