This is annoying.CrashPlan are discontinuing their Home plan to focus exclusively on business and enterprise customers. The are offering 2 alternatives, migrate to their Small Business plan or move to their "partner" Carbonite.Going with CrashPlan Small Business allows you to migrate your data (as long as it is under 5TB), but presumable moving to Carbonite would require reseeding. They are offering a good discount on CrashPlan Small Business for the first 12 months, but after that it will be considerably more expensive that CrashPlan Home. CrashPlan Home is AU$7.00 (approx NZ$7.61) and CrashPlan Small Business will be US$10.00 (approx NZ$13.74) after the initial 12 months. So getting close to twice the price. My backup set is 4.8TB, so I'll definitely be migrating to CrashPlan Small Business if possible as I don't want to have to reseed that much data.I am a little concerned when the say your backup must be 5TB or smaller to migrate, as while my backup set is 4.8TB it is potentially over 5TB worth of backup data when factoring the history retention. I've sent a support query to confirm I can definitely migrate. What are other CrashPlan Home users planning to do in light of this news?
