Google accounts aren't available to kinds under 13 years old (in New Zealand, other countries vary). I'd like to know what others have done:Android tablets for kids: I don't want my own Google account on a tablet my kid might take to school for a show and tell, or use with visitors around here. But I can't create an account for her since she's only 7. I could use something like Kid's Place but is there anything built-in for this situation (such as user management with different user access to store and apps?) I tried the Android 4.2 Users but it needs a new account, so go back to "no accounts for kids under 13"...Google Apps for Education: my girl has a school account with Google. Surely we could use that account then to login to Android tablets then? Anyone tried? Google+ is disabled on this account, but what about Google chat and other communications services? How are parents going to monitor these, or are the schools doing it?
